Default Motorcycle assistance-from a biker

I was out riding Saturday, the temps here on Maryland's Eastern Shore were in the 70's!!!! I saw many riders out and about, as we passed we gave the "WAVE" and traveled on.

As I was heading down Rt 301 I noticed this biker on the side of the road, many other bikers just went on by and didn't stop. I pulled over and stopped to see if this guy needed any help...cell phone? what ever....

He's standing there holding his front headlight. The grade eight bolt broke off and it was dangling. I don't know what type of Harley it was, but it was custom, special paint and lots of chrome. It looked very nice...

We talked and he said he has $40,000.00 in his Harley and won many trophy's as he's standing there holfing hid broken headlight. He said it has happened many times. He also told me the engine has no rubber mounts, just bolted directly to the frame!!!!!

Well, I said, theres the cause of your metel fatigue, all that vibration....

I pointed to my bike (2008 C50T) and said $8,500.00 on the road....does all I need it to.

I don't know why other Harleys and bikers didn't stop?? Anyway, he called Stone Cycles on Kent Island and came out with another bolt, I checked up on him as I came back that way from the Moose Lodge where my son and their band were setting up for a Halloween party.

He was tic'd off because of the bolt, I don't blame him, he seemed like a nice guy and we shook hands and went our separate ways.....

I was just wondering if anyone else as stopped to help another biker from one time or another?
