After riding Wings for over 10 yrs I have deceided to downsize as I no longer do the touring I once did. I was not interested in a 1100cc or bigger so concentrated on the 750 Honda Aero and 650 Yamaha V Star. Both bikes are stylish and pretty good pep for a smaller engine. Than comes the new C50 with fuel injection and floor boards. Great looking bike with lots of add on potential. I take delivery on Monday. This site looks like a good place for info and fun.

A friend of mine gave up riding Wings after quite a few years. Now he's riding a new Polaris and seems to thoroughly enjoy it.

Nice bike choice. I'll probably move that way when I'm through with my Savage (C40). For now, though, I've only been riding a month...

Interesting... a friend of mine showed up with a 650 V-Star a few months ago and got me thinking of getting a newer bike. I started off looking at the V-Stars, too, as well as a couple of Kawasakis. Went to check them out and fell in love with the C50 sitting on the showroom floor. Walked out, went back to work, thought about it for a good hour or so then left work early and bought it off the floor. Haven't regretted it for 1 second.

If Bluejeans was male, you'd probably have a point.

Guess we'll have to start a Volusia Owners Refuge also.
