Default Annual Forum Get-Together

Alright, I've been tossing this around. I even bounced it off another person here, and they thought it was worth a shot.

Some of the other forums (there are other forums?!? ) I'm on have a yearly meet-and-greet at a somewhat-centralized location where some good riding can be found. Usually in spring. I'm thinking next year.

In order to not exclude anyone here, we should maybe have 2 (3?) different get-togethers. We have many people here from the south, and I believe there's quite a few from the north/northeast, and I'm certain there's a few on the west coast also.

If we were to have an annual get-together, somewhere say, in the mountains (or somewhere else wher ethe riding is good), would anyone be interested.

You can bring your spouse/person you are currently sleeping with.
We'll probably wind up with half of us camping, and the other half snoozing in a motel or something (sissies).
You can have adult beverages . . . after the ride . . . so long as you don't get so drunk that you wake up and ride drunk. If that happens, you are on your own.
You must ride responsibly!! Sure, we may exceed a posted limit once in a while, but no triple digits and no stunting.
You must arrive with your ego stored safely in your tank bag. No one is impressed with anyone else's ability to out-ride anyone . . . especially themselves. Besides, we're all pretty sure 'Nut's the guy to beat anyway.
There will be other rules, but you get the general idea.

So, anyone still interested?

Sounds like a good idea, but what about Canadians, Brits, Belgium folks, Aussies, whatever?

We ain't all like Janis who could fly half around the world to race with her new buddies! (yes, I AM jealous )

Seriously, it IS a good idea.

Hmmm . . . so Inspiron would be alone at the Swiss get-together. Hadn't thought that far. I guess we'd have to see who bites and work from there.

I'm interested - sounds like fun! Like LayinLo - I'd need to know WAY in advance.

Q. Can we bring more than one person.. Say 3 or 4 or 5 or ...

Q. Does it have to be your spouse/S.O.? What if I just wanted to bring a couple of my girlfriends (not saying that's so, but just wanted to know my options )

P.S. Poor Inspiron! (But you gotta laugh! )

Bring whoever you want, I suppose. I can't see that being a problem.

I like it! I'd need way advance planning too. I'm pretty close to part of Canada so maybe we can work together on that end. Quebec is only about 4 hours from here (I think).
