Default Check your straps

My heart just about dropped to the bottom of my stomach today-was trailoring my bike home from the dealer today, had the bike all loaded, strapped down good and tight, you know rachet straps with soft ties in all four corners and all good to go for a 45 minute trip.

Stopped after about 10 minutes to check straps, and then again at gas station to fill up-all good. Coming down the final stretch road home and look in the mirror and see her tipping over ever so slowley.

Slowley pull over and off the road and go to investigate, luckily the kickstand was down and the bike was resting on it, so it never went over. One of the straps had broke from the hook-hook was gone and broke free from the strap. I had another strap so I redid the bike and made it home. Tomorrow I will be buying 4 new heavy duty straps to make sure im good for the next time.

So remember to often check your straps and dont skimp out, make sure you have good straps
