Default selling bikes

i was thinking about selling my bike, and i was wondering where would be a good place to post it. a place where i'm not going to get just a bunch of people who arent serious in purchasing it and just wasting my time. has anyone had any experience with any of the online selling sites other than just browsing? and for the sake of a shamless plug: going for 1500/obo, many new parts, including tires and paint. i did buy it for cheap, but i put about $950 worth of parts into it. pics here:http://community.webshots.com/album/162956057CfdSuq e-mail:colem173@msu.edu

I tried on ebay and got screwed the first time. The second time I got several bids, but nowhere close to what I was asking. However, your price is much lower than mine was, so I don't think you'd have any trouble at all. Be careful with the "buy it now" option though. People like to do that with hijacked accounts and it ends your bid. That's what happened to me.

Another thing you could try is to sell the bike locally by putting an ad in a newspaper. I sold two bikes that way.
