since i have carparal tunnel in my right wrist, i needed something better than the throttle boss i had and got the Brakeaway cruise control (hated the throttle boss) install: pretty straightforward... i've got the ISO grips so it's hard to get it on there, but it goes... I had a bit of difficulty lining up the 'brakeaway' part of the control... turns the mirror bolt and the control wasn't a perfect 90 degree angle to bolt up... so i use a hammer and made the angle a bit larger... fits perfectly... usage: i wouldn't recommend using this in the twisties I find it a bit hard to click it 'on', but that may be part of my install and not the control itself... tapping the brake (light doesn't come on) or hitting the button turns it off right away... works like a charm.. anyhow... rode about 475 miles today... used it on the superslabs and long straight stretches... now i can pick my nose with my right hand |
