Wow...my bike's been having some back luck the past month. I'm NEVER going to let anyone ride my bike ever again, unless it's my father who has ridden bikes since he was 16 and used to do various track days and races when he was in his prime. Anyways...almost all of the damage is cosmetic but the right steering stop is broken and the bars are slightly to the left when I'm going straight so I think he bent something in the front end. I don't really want to take it to a shop, I'd rather fix it myself but I don't know how to tell what is/isn't bent or what need to be replaced other than the lower triple clamp and all the bodywork. So I set up an appointment next week to have it checked out. He's going to pay for it all, and he's responsible so I know for sure he's going to make sure it all gets taken care of, but it still sucks. He didn't want to wear my helmet because it was too tight, but I told him that if he wanted to ride my bike he had to wear the helmet. Good thing too....the helmet is all scratched up so his head would have been bleeding pretty bad if he wasn't wearing it. I'm glad he's okay though, just a little road rash on his elbow, and a sore shoulder and leg. Any suggestions on the front end before I bring it in to the stealership to have it fixed? Any of you have a similar problem? The bike still tracks straight, but the bars are just slightly crooked.
