Note when you change oil:

Warming up the engine 1st allows the oil to flow faster. Draining a cold engine simply takes longer, but is not necessary if you have the time to wait.

When your done (adding oil), run the engine a bit, shut it down, wait aprox 3 min, check oil level.

When you change the oil with the filter, and add oil, the oil dosen't go into the filter untill it's run.

The Oil filter can take an additional 1/4 qt., so check you oil level after you run it , you usually find the level is down, add as required.

Ok - you just pinged on the one fault with the C50 - no centerstand. Ever try holding up a 500+ pound bike while leaning over to check the level in that tiny little view port because your wife still won't even look at the bike, much less touch it?

It can be done, but it must look awful funny to anyone watching....

I had my bro get on it and keep it centered. No center stand on the cbr.
