Hmmm... pledge must work only on blue bikes.

My new bike is looking pretty nasty but I don't have time to wash it. I'm looking forward to trying the pledge thing.

Does it work better than the Honda spray cleaner? I've used that for years. Never thought of using Pledge but I'm going to pickup a can on the way home lol.

SONOFA...

I went out this week and bought some spray detailer before reading this... all I needed was to confiscate some of the contents of my wife's cleaning basket?!?

I am gonna go give this a try tonight when I get home, I have an 80mi commute on I80 through NJ into PA... should get dirty enough to clean

It works great. And I noticed it doesn't get as dusty when sitting in my garage for a day or 2.

I use it and it works great. I put down a good coat of turtle wax and use the Lemon Pledge for touch up and general cleaning. I use it on the windscreen, chrome, paint, and tires, and I don't even have to buy it because the wife always has some..

Myself I think a clean m/c is is a way of show pride of ownership. I don't even like my m/c to have dust on it. After the lawn guys get done mowing the yard there is always that bit dust & stuff blowing around, which seems to be on the m/c. I always I'm wiping it down to get the dust off. I will give the lemon pledge a try as it will be nice just to wipe it down shine & smell clean

Default thank you

hey simpson, thank you so much for the valuable cleaning tips...especially the pledge. i've been a fan of w-d for years but had never heard of all the uses (and safe uses) for pledge. i actually have some in the cabinet and can't wait to put it to a better use. again, thanks.

Well just went out and tried the Pledge thing and it does really work... The local bee population really seemed to enjoy it as well... I didn't put it on the seat though I'm afraid my ass will slide off....

Not sure about the windshield though... I just got a 17" Memphis Fat for my bike. Haven't installed it yet but the instructions say ONLY use warm water and dish soap. Any thoughts?

Do not wear wool pants while snowmobiling, your ass will slide off

It stays pretty wet up here in Wa state so I will definitely try both this weekend. Anything to help keep it clean, work smarter not harder...

I gotta try this. I hate cleaning the windshield, worried about scratching the thing.
