It had to have been like flying a go cart. They had all the basics needed to actually work but nothing extra.

Here's a photo of the box if any of you are looking for one. In fact, mine's now for sale. It's in slightly used condition and still works fine. All the seals are good.

Tim, how do you think he got the name "Rowdy", and why do you think it's RED?

I'll pass. The Swedish ones are too small. Their sizing is funny, kind of like clothes sometimes. Their extra-large is like our American small. But thanks anyways.

That's my job.

And yes, flying with not but a piece of yarn on the lower section of the canopy would be a feat.

What's your job? Flying vintage airplanes or hijacking threads?

And it's "naught".

Why, hijacking threads of course.

And yeah, dunno what I was thinking when I typed that out.... had wife in my ear on the phone. ( shows you how much I listen to her on most conversations )

Were you referring to the yarn as a stall warning "system"? Just the thought is a bit scary.

The yarn is to determine slip more than anything. When you're flying straight the yarn is in a straight line. When you're turning/slipping the stream changes and thus is reflected in the direction of the yarn.

Edit: The yarn is more used in helicopters than in planes but nonetheless it's applicable to both.
