| Ha! I did, too! Looks just like a converted snowmobile. It doesn't lean like the Piaggio (sp?) does. Some old guy was standing next to it and exclaimed to another old guy, "It goes 200 mph!". I said, nah, maybe 150. He said, "The speedometer has 200 on it!" *sigh*

| I've seen 'em on the road. They appear surprisingly wide. I get the sense that if I rode one I'd end up clipping pedestrians or crossing the centre line.

| I rode one. It was fun, but absolutely nothing like riding a motorcycle. The thing I had to get used to was that it would lean with the angles in the road so I kept trying to correct it at first. Because when a motorcycle leans when you are going in a straight line (like as the result of a side wind) you steer to correct it. On the Spyder, there is nothing to correct so I looked like a drunk driver I am sure until I got used to it. Steering is very sensitive. You can go the to Spyder Ryder website: BRP Can-Am | Spyder Ryder and find out when a dealer near you is going to be having the test rides. Those with out a motorcycle license was allowed to ride around a course they had set up. But not all states require a motorcycle endorsement for it. North Carolina does though. It is worth a look see. |

| They do not call it a motorcycle. They are very explicit that it is not a motorcycle. They call it a "roadster". They told us several times that it is not a motorcycle and it is not trying to be. They were trying to make something different. And they did.

| it's a snow-mobile. plain and simple... it's made from bombardier... you know... that little canadian SKIDOO company i guess it's a road-mobile though... so roadster is a pretty good name for it... saw one on the road the other day, looks fun to ride for the sno-mobilers out there...

| I'm still trying to understand what the point of that thing is. It won't run with a good liter bike motor wise. Chassis wise, it won't feel like a motorcycle. Would it out handle a good sportbike, or be as forgiving as something like a Miata?? Comfort wise, it would hold less luggage than a Miata, and you would get more wet than one. I can't see the thing being more economical fuel wise, than a good Japanese econobox {Toyota Yaris, Honda Fit, etc}. It just seems to be an answer to a question, that damn few people have asked. If I had lots of money, sure, I'd have one just for the novelty.
