I could not find where I saw them at, but some where on-line is a lot of pics of bikes crashing or pushing luck on the Dragon. (I thought it was Killboy.com) Most of the cruisers got into trouble because of the floorboards usually. From what I can remember, it looked like they ran out of corner room and levered the bike up. I am a sport bike guy, but rode a Harley Electra-glide quite a bit for a couple of months. I was constantly grinding the floorboard simply ridding around town and such.

After making my short story long I must say that, you are not the first and you won't be the last. Give up comfort for more cornering or give up cornering for comfort. I will put in 1,000 mile days on a sport bike. I am thinking of going for a little more comfort myself.

And I am very glad you are ok.

It's a scary thing when it happens the first few times as you'll probably knock your foot right off the peg.

It still does't happen often, but it happens - normally due to road camber situations as opposed to all out high lean cornering.
