Default Suspension settings...?

So, in the thread I posted about tires, wookie gave a link to a website with some suspension set ups for bikes, and I used it as a guide to set up my suspension. I dialed in a little different than what the site suggested, because my weight is less than the average rider, and WOW what a difference it made. The bike feels so much better, has so much more grip, and is a lot easier to ride.

But...on to my question...how many of you have dialed in your suspension? If you haven't, I highly suggest it!

I've adjusted my suspension to the best of my abilities and its riding much better now than before.. but i'm sure if i were more mechanically inclined i could have a lot better.

Great reminder. I'd bet that fewer than 25% have even considered making adjustments.

Adjusting the front suspension on my ride took less than five minutes, and made it much less harsh. Before, I'd go over a big bump and the front end would get some air. Now the wheel goes up and down -- staying locked on the road. Much better...

For the longest time, I didn't want to adjust the suspension because I thought it was going to take forever and be a pain in the arse to do. But it's actually very, very, VERY easy and really doesn't take that long at all.

I've adjusted my suspension the second day I had my C50T.

I've adjusted my suspension for passenger load. And since there is only one thing to adjust it works semi well for corner carving (as much as an M50 can carve). The ride is a little harsh over rough pavement but since it's a pain in the ass to adjust, and I'm lazy, it stays.

I am still dialing mine in, to me, suspension is the most important part of a bike. I will have mine re-valved / re-sprung this summer if I can't get it the way I want it. Problem w/ stock suspension is that it's made for a wide array of riders and skills. Re-working it allows it to be fit specifically to your weight, skill, and riding style.

Before proper dial in ........it was a steak knife.

After the proper dial in.....it is a scalpel.

I am still working on mine. I have not had the time to get it really dialed in. My last bike I had perfect. It makes such a huge difference.
