|  I do it too but only when there is traffic behind me. Not when it's all clear. But I agree that it's a great idea and altho you may not be able to prevent all accidents, I am sure it reduces the chances.

 | I watch my mirrors and will flash if someone is following too closely and while sitting at a stoplight if someone is coming up behind me.
