Default This Is A Sad Happy Day

Well if all goes according to planed, I will take delivery of a Red 2008 KLR 650 today. It hasn't been an easy desicision but I believe that this will be a fun bike and it will give me another kind of riding experiance.

It's amazing to me that it is going to be less expensive monthly for me to have this newer bike then it was to keep "M". With them giving me $7,500 for "M" she gets paid off and the $700 I am adding to that the new bike is paid for as well. Insurance will be half of what I currently pay and fuel will also be less.

I'm gonna miss "M" but I also need to save as much as I can with me being the only one working. She's been a great ride.

Good luck.

AND may "M" find a new owner as passionate about riding as you!

I've owned probably 30 or so bikes. A new bike is always a great day!

I will get pics tonight when I pick it up, and I already have a list of items I want to get for it. A trunk, K&N filter, something they call a Doohicky...

"M" is the first bike I ever owned that had enough chrome that it had to be cleaned and polished. Never again.
