that's nothing; a guy at work had to buy the honda whatever scooter.

New. 5.5 k and the guy is 6 6" so he looks like a Fisher Price toy driving down the street. It's quite hilarious.

cheaper than a v strom, eh?

may have to keep it in mind.

I like the old xs, don't get me wrong.

Just haven't cracked 40 mpg with it. Or 39, or 38. I think I need a carb rebuild and synch.

Yeah she was. *sigh*

I asked the dealer if I could approve her adoption, they actually understood.

Congrats Don. I'd been thinking about the 650 V-Strom for quite some time as a second bike. The new KLR caught my eye a couple months ago, and when I can, I think I may go that way. I'll be staying tuned for how you like it.
Yours looks great!

Too clean for me, a bike that like that says to me" lets go play in the dirt" and since I live on a dirt road (cow path with pot holes to you city folk) I would get a lot of "play " time in with a ride like that. How is it on the hi way?

It will probably be alot more stable in the dirt than the V-Strom. My roots are from the dirt with bikes and the stuff I tried with my old Endoros and the Dr's I wouldn't even think about with the Strom.

I like my Strom,, but it is a off road if you have to kinda bike in my opinion.
