Default flip up lense

I have a small problem: On my 1/2 helement I have a flip up lense and there is like a "soap film about 1/2" up from the bottom in the center and about 3" wide on the inside.
I have never cleaned it with soap, but you can take your finernail and scratch it off?

Any ideas to clean this off, without hurting the lense
>>> I use a plexiglass cleaner on my windshield and lense
Thanks

Do you know whether the lens is polycarbonate?

That is probably the remains of the 'anti-fogging' film coating inside the visor, after about 18 months of use the 'anti-fogging saturates and begins to go slightly milky. At this point most people ditch them and buy replacements, however, it sounds like you have cleaned most of yours off.

If you don't want to replace the visor a good quality plastic polish will clean the remnants of the coating off, to leave you with a completely untreated visor.... Just like we had in the old days!
