| I wanted to say hello to everyone. I found this forum and decided to join and help out with answering questions about motorcycles. I am 38 years old and started riding at the age of 10. I have raced motocross in AMA District 6. I stopped MX racing in 1989 and decided to be a mechanic for a local Suzuki dealers MX team. I did that for 3 years and decided to take up roadracing. I raced a GSXR 750 for a few years and enjoyed it very much. I now own my own business and ride my 1997 RGV 250 SP and My 1992 RGV 250 N. Both are painted in Lucky Strike colors. I own other motorcycles including a 2002 RM250 that is so much fun to ride. I hope I can help answer as many questions as possible with good sound advice. Dave G. NJ USA |

| Ok first test and probably most asked question in dirt forum. Bike runs fine then dies, can't get it started again, plugs keep getting fouled, wazzup with that ?

| Well I like to give the simple least costly repairs first. Incorrect float height Incorrect Fuel oil Mix Incorrect Jetting Bad coil (intermitant) Costly repairs... Bad crank seal Worn Rings Air leaks around head or base gaskets Hows that for starters? |

| Hello everyone, joining anything like this is also another first for me. However, it seems a perfect compliment to Suzuki and the sport. I am very happy to have found this forum and pleased that everyone is so willing to help with suggestions and invaluable insights on their personal experiences (the good and the bad). I have read it over and over again in here...a continuous learning experience. I have taken the new riders course and completed the other legal requirements and now have my endorsement. Changes nothing.....still a newbie, but anxious to learn and ride. It will be a while before I can swing the full deal on the bike so I will use the time to buy the less expensive but absolute musts of protective gear. Winter will be here soon which will leave very little time for riding before putting it up for a long spell. I have tested a C50 and loved it. I have done a great deal of research and find it to be the best entry level cruiser for me. I am 6'1" at 185 lbs and it felt great. Perhaps by the time I can afford to buy, I hope the M50 will be available to test ride. My first post, a long one. Thank you for the space. Michael in Idaho [/b][/i] |

| Welcome to the Madness. Read the posts carefully as they're full of good info. Well...... at least the the first page or two before they got hijacked by the knuckleheads (myself included).
