What he said. It's the very rightness of it that's the problem.

Hey jerth
Just go buy the bike, you deserve to be happy, Don't you? if she leaves you because of it, she obviously does not love you very much or care about your happiness.

I am a lucky guy, I have a wife that takes my breath away with her beauty. My wife is a motor head, she loves fast cars and cycles. My wife rides a 2000 Bandit 1200S and back in 99 she ordered me my 2000 Hayabusa as a surprise for me. This Jan. she told me to buy the B-King I liked and it now is in the garage along with the Busa and her bike. There is nothing like curves on curves, a beautiful woman on a sport bike. Owning a cycle is great but having a wife that likes cycles and rides her own and that can keep up with the guys on cycles... Well things are great in my world!

My wife wants absolutely nothing to do with my bike or anyone's. I've tried to get her to take a short ride with me only to have been quickly turned down every time.

Fortunately though, She recognised a big change in my attitude when I got the bike. Now when I begin to get a bit wound up, she says that I need "therapy" and insists that I take ride! Cool!!
