Finally a break in the weather today! It must have been almost 50 degrees today and sunny!

I took a 65 mile loop ride through my favorite local twisties with my father in law and including lunch it took us 2 1/2 hours. The roads were still a little damp, and the pavement had been grooved for the recent ice/snow. There was a lot of debris - grit and rock from the snow. In fact at the start of the video, we are 18 miles from my house, at the top of the Wolf Creek Road. You can see there is still quite a bit of snow up there from a couple weeks ago.

A great ride and I got to try out my camera.
First two videos mounted on the rear right turn signal. I had to keep slowing down to get my father-in-law back into frame
I start actually riding about 3:30 into the second video.
Last video mounted on the front left turn signal. (I must have knocked the camera when I stopped because the second half is at an angle)

Sorry for the completely unedited videos - I'll put together a compilation later...

I added an edited video - just 3 1/2 minutes - to the original post!
Enjoy.

luckily my father-in-law doesn't mind if I leave him behind occasionally - as long as I stop at some point for him to catch up.
The surface made me way nervous - normally I corner at 20-25mph over posted speed for the corners (e.g. 30 on a 15mph corner and 70 on a 45mph corner) but I was having to slow way down as the higher elevation corners were covered in grit from the snow we just had.
I hope someone gets up there soon with a road sweeper!

Another video added with a more appropriate soundtrack, I think..
