BTW, how did you like the show? I've never been to one before and the Chicago show is in three weeks. I'm thinking of going.

It was pretty cool............not what I expected, but pretty cool anyway. I saw all the bikes that I had only read about, sat on several, including the C-109RT. That bike is "HUGE AND HEAVY". I also got to look at all the new innovations in gear, including helmets, boots, jackets, chaps........hell, anything that you can put on and ride, they had it.

OH !!!!!!!! did I mention all the Beautiful Women.............Wholly Smokes (Of Course We Were In Atlanta....). It cost us $13.00 each to get in, if you go, I don't think you will be dissappointed, it was just a lot of fun looking at all the bikes and being able to sit on anything except the vintage bikes and the Pro-Racers.

Sounds interesting. I'm going to try to go depending on my schedule, but I think I will be between trips that weekend. I hadn't thought about accessories but since I want to pick up some new gear for next summer such as a jacket, protection, boots, and other stuff, this might be a good place to go and do some shopping.

It should be a fun day.... motorcycles and pretty girls. What more could an old guy ask for?

Our version of the show starts on Thursday and runs for 4 days.
My oldest son and my grandson want to go.
Hopefully we will make it.

I go to the Chicago show every year. It's pretty good. Last year I posted a couple pics from it.

I wish I'd went down there again this year. However we had a show here in Knoxville and I thought it would be pretty good. WRONG!!!!!
Ten bucks apiece to get in and there was very little. The Outlaws had a booth and were recuiting, I bet there was nearly 100 of them in full colors. Just standing around looking "bad to bone" and nasty. I guess they don't bathe very often.

It's odd I went to this same show in Nashville before and it was quite good. Maybe it'll get better in a few years here in Knoxville.

I wanted to go but when I checked the dates I realized I was about an hour over the last day it was in town. I thought it was next weekend not this one!

I did go to some motorcycle survey but it was super boring, but I got 75 bucks out of it.

I tell ya, it's worth going to the bike show if only for

1) the parking isn't horrific, by chicago standards
2) you get to see bikes side by side you wouldn't see anywhere else
3) who knows, maybe Billy Lane, Pete Egan or somebody else semi famous will be there.

I have a picture of me on a Can Am Spyder. I'll have to post it. The best part of the IMS for me is the demo rides. I do like being able to sit on the floor models though. Benellis are teh sex.

saw a spyder at the toy store the other day; the price wasn't ridiculous (15 k).

Not cheap, but not ridiculous; I wonder how long Bombardier will make them.

When I first saw it, it looked like a sled almost.
