Hey, november, I've got to ask ... you list your location as Charleston, South cackalacky..

Do you speak German? Do you know what "der Kakerlak" means?

I figure it's just like saying Oaktown or Zoo York.

That's the reason for my question ... "ein Kakalak" means is "a cockroach". It just seemed to be too much of a coincidence.

Haha. I took spanish in college. I left learning German to those with a higher aptitude towards foreign languages. Down here we assign names to all the big cities. Cola for Columbia, Chucktown for Charleston, G-Vegas for Greenville, and Sparkle city for Spartanburg and A-town for Anderson.

I got the full face that pulls up so you can get a good spit in at red lights and stop signs. Most the time I ride with half so I don't have that problem.

I just starting doing this alternative to tobacco dip. It is mint leaves ground up in the same fashion. You don't have to spit and you can try and kick the habit. Its called mint snuff. Google it and see if they got it in your area. Or you could just get bandits, same skoal just in a small pouch with less spitting.

Hahaha... are you associated with the military at all? When I was stationed in Ft.Bliss Tx I went to the doctors because they were offering quit smoking aids. When I told them I dipped, they gave me that mint stuff. It tore my gums up to high heaven though. But I think I am going to either just not dip, or go along the route of a few bandits thrown in there.

Hahaha. No association! I just found that mint dip about a month ago. The mint doesn't really bother my gums as much as regular dip. Bandits would be the way to go!

Skoal were banned here in the UK around 20 years ago not long after they released them over here.
I remember seeing graphic pictures of face/mouth cancer at the time in the press when they were campaigning to ban them.
So I have never tried them although I do smoke cigarettes.

Yeah, the lung damage from smoking is hidden from the proper types. So long as they don't have to actually look at it, it's okay.

Have they ever seen what a car can do to a person's body in a wreck? I'm surprised they still drive!
