Default How many cold miles did you ride this week?

I got lucky enough to get in a couple of rides this week of 80 to 100 miles. Felt great to be riding in December.

Well considering it's Texas I only rode to work in the cold, 41° here on the coast w/ near 100% humidity is COLD !!! And that was yesterday so...65 miles. Return home a few hours later after getting half the day off...74° w/ 42% humidity...Gotta love Texas...

Rode to work a couple of days ago. Not bad considering I'm north of the border. Once you pass the first mile of igloo's and the knumbness sets in, it's smooth riding...

Temp. was O deg C (32 F), and clear. Nice to get out. Seems lately I can only get out a couple of times a month.

Thankfully Virginia doesn’t get truly cold like above the Mason-Dixon line, but we’ve consistently hovered around freezing +/- a few degrees before sunrise… saw a touch of frost on the bridges one humid morning (about 22 F), all told about 650 miles (commuting) but evening return trips are always in the mid-thirties or slightly higher… ol’Evo starts just fine, but had a carb-fart or two on the coolest mornings until she got up to temps…

Hmm. The Triumph is back at the stealership in San Rafael, and I'm at home in Switzerland. Here it's down in the upper teens overnight, and getting into the upper 30's in the afternoon. Roads are icy in the shade ... so my bike is staying in the garage, and I'm driving my Audi quattro with heated seats. I'm too old to freeze my balls off just to say I rode...

Nada! Too much snow, ice, sand and salt to even consider it.

The weather has been insane here in Georgia. It has only got really cold a few days here and the rest have been tolerable, so I have been riding a fair amount.

A bit over two hundred miles in 40-50F, between the two bikes. Gotta keep that oil circulated, you know

Here's a couple pics of the VTX with new Muzzy pipes and Solo Shield...

I've commuted to work, and then done my Christmas shopping in this extra crazy traffic around here lately. Had some rain early in the week, and temps going home at 1:00am have been chilly, but then a couple days it was sunny and in the 70's.

Oh, and then on Thursday I took a little ride to Yuma, Arizona to help my brother rescue his 21 year old daughter who began feeling ill on her way back from Tucson. That was 580 miles and about 11 hours round trip. I had never been on the Interstate 8 east of San Diego, and it wasn't a bad ride. The pass you go over got cold (in the thirties), and on the way back very thick fog and then an hour and a half of rain. All was well except some of the faster cages got me nervous in the fog. I guess they could see a lot better than I could.

And then last evening another 150 or so doing the Angeles Crest Highway moonlight ride with Wookie. I'd say about 800 miles or so for the week. Not normal for this time of year, but I enjoyed almost all of it.

I rode plenty...but I'm in TX so I get to cheat.
Weather in the 60's during the day here, so my riding hardly qualifies as doing anything amazing during "winter".

I like those pipes texrider. She's looking really good.
You ever consider white-walls on that bike? I think white-wall would really pop in all the right ways on your scoot.

uh - maybe 5-6 miles around the neighborhood. Just cranked the bike, and decided to ride (just a long sleeve shirt). It got pretty cold, pretty fast. Felt good though.

Wow!!! got out for 50 mikes today........almost forgot how good it felt

Hot dam!!!!2" of rain cleared away the salt and snow and 9" of snow out of the yard....Temp dropped from a max of 54* over night to 37 this morning. High of 45* today. AND I GOT THE WEEK OFF! I am so out of here for a while............later!!

A 2008 EGC here in Mass......52 degrees right now and rain in the future tonight. Dam might wash all the rest of this snow away and get her out for my X-mass day ride with the wife!!
