-31, but that's in metric, so it's what 5 F? Oh no, that's like - 20 F. Ow, cold.

The point where I call in sick; and that don't happen often.

Rode in to work this afternoon while the cage is getting repainted after a 94yr old lady backed into it. Got off at 11pm checked the temp before I set off, hrmm...it's a little colder than was forecasted... 35° but was only supposed to be 48° tonight...Oh well time to cruise the 65 miles back to la casa, go out and wipe the dew off the seat, clean the windshield, and hit the road...not too bad and supposed to warm up by the time I get back to my home county. Low fuel light kicks on halfway home and I pull into the only gas station that keeps the pumps on at night. Get gas then take off again, man...feels colder than when I left..Finally warms up again 10 miles from the house, all in all a nice peaceful ride home at 12:30am...

not that I'm rubbing it in but since Dec 1000+. it only got below 60 here 2 days so far. it's harder to ride during hurricane season than winter

But it's FL, it'll be too hot by may to ride.

Or at least ride comfortably for me. The morning in wouldn't be bad, but congested traffic and 95 just aren't what I consider "worth it."

Knocked off another 130 miles this weekend down toward the Cape. Temp in the low 40's to high 30's. So far 618 miles between storms in the last 5 weeks.

another week; another 0 miles. To be added to last week's 0 miles, and the previous week's 0 miles.

Talk about off to a slow start.

I'm guessing "cold" is relative... I have been riding everyday since it stopped raining/sleeting. about 30 miles a day during the week and another 200-300 on weekends...

its not a lot, but its nice to be outta the cage... and the temps are only 30's for the ride to work - its usually 55-60 for the ride home....

... I managed about 80 miles yesterday...mostly at freezing temps.....and ended up shivvering for several hours after i got home. Heavy fog and gravel accumulations on my favorite twisty road slowed me waaay down... and put me in the clear tire track for most of the corners.
On some corners I was riding the left hand clear tire track and it was a bit scary when there was oncoming traffic in the turn.... since I was not gonna drift over the gravel in while cornering even at a low speed.... been there dropped the bike like that. I felt a few rear view mirrors near miss my left hand....LOL.

It's not a matter of feeling pain - that comes after the numbness goes away.

Looking to be around 0 for the playoff game this week.

That's football, for you non fans. Not that I expect many here to follow american style football.
