No, you won't get the feedback. Learned how to drive on a truck with manual steering and manual brakes.

Wouldn't want to drive in stop and go traffic, your right leg would be so sore you'd walk with a limp by the time you get somewhere.

Modern brakes usually tend to give pretty good feedback, and modern abs doesn't kick on before you need it.

Yeah, that's because modern brakes have power assist. Manual brakes = no power assist. That's why you wouldn't get the feedback in the truck you are talking about.
