Since I know very little about CYS or cameras...

I use my rear more then my front to control speed. I use both when stopping though.

Of course for one isolated incident this is unlikely but still possible, especially if separated and the other parent gets a hold of the proof.
You are kidding me right? Why doesn't the government keep their nose out of my business of raising a child? Any number of sports kids play are putting them in harms way. When I was a kid and my father told me to go get the cattle up, and I got kicked in the chest. The law and CPS didn't come out. I got up, took responsibility for my mistake of getting too close, learned my lesson and finished my job. That's called "growing up", something many kids today are not allowed to do because it's "not safe".

My fond memories as a kid:
bottle rocket fights after we shot off all the Black Cats
riding in the back of a pick-up on a summer night
swimming in creeks
be gone all day riding horses
seeing how far you could climb a tree
playing w/ Mercury in science class
riding mini bikes to town
shooting BB guns

Fond memories of a kid today:
ummm... when I was a kid I remember playing video games in front of the TV because it was the only safe thing we could do to keep my parents out of jail.

It's no wonder America's kids are screwed up.

OK I am thru ranting. but it's OK by me.

Engine braking with rear and front brakes using more pressure on the front than the rear.

If I drank, I'd buy you one. You left out riding motorcycles, sling shots, and that girl named Becky who kissed like a fish, but....

Yeah, there are tons of things I left out, but ya'll get the idea. I left out water skiing, my Dad taught me how to ski at age 4, and I could already swim by then. As if pulling a 4 yo behind a boat is not dangerous.

Here ya go Don to all the parents who allow their kids to be kids.
It will make them a much better person on down the road of life.

Now....what's this about front brakes?

I'll disagree with Rock; engine breaking I was told by a mech is bad because the engine runs lean. And hot.

Me, primarily use the front brake, didn't always used to, but I do now.

Use the rear brake pretty much for emergencies.

I've had the habbit of using both the front and back breaks since I've been riding.. just come natural to me. I try not to put extreme breaking loads on either front or back but instead try and stay even.. but when the situation calls for it I will just down shift..

The busa is kinda strange in that as soon as you let off the gas its almost like hitting the breaks.. I don't think the cruiser does that but sport-bikes seem to..

Maybe because of higher compression?

That, and the higher internal friction of four cylinders instead of two, coupled with a much lighter flywheel.

Engine braking won't hurt your engine. It's designed for that. You aren't using the engine brake for long periods of time, so overheating is not a problem. Its only a few seconds usually, and there is still air flowing over the engine since you're moving.

I don't know about bikes in this case, but my car's EFI system completely cuts off the fuel injection when I'm engine braking. Since I have a diesel, there's no spark, but I'm sure that gasoline engines will cut off both the fuel injection and the spark when doing engine braking. This not only saves fuel, but doesn't cause any additional heat since there is no combustion taking place.
