Default Who here can ride? I mean really ride.....

Putting together a new site and in need of some content. The site is called Thrill Cycle and it's basically what the name says.... The thrill of being on two wheels or one.

Any content is welcome however we strongly suggest that any trick or race be done on private property and not the public streets, we just had a local guy get busted for taking his Lamborghini 219mph on the 202 freeway here. Where I would love the content, I don't want anyone to get arrested or in trouble.

I am also looking for volunteers to cover local events in your area. This will be a great way for an up and coming writer and/or photographer to gain great exposure and make a name for themselves.

Let me know if anyone is interested.

Thanks
Broc

The name Thrill Cycle suggests a speed and stunting emphasis.
I'm just not sure people want to watch videos of your average rider out enjoying a ride in the twisties on their cruiser.

This type of site only promotes the "thrill" side of riding - which I'm not so sure I think we need. Private property is obviously ideal, but how many people can create a thrill video other than stunting on private property? There are a million videos of idiots doing stupid things on bikes already - do we need a whole site dedicated to giving safe riders a bad name?

You don't get a thrill out of riding your cruiser through the twisties? I do.

Yeah, I don't condone street racing/stunting either, however, it does go on and if people are comfortable posting, well... who am I to say no?

Actually, the site is not going to be a typical "show off" type site, it will be geared more toward a magazine type site. There are numerous legal events where people gather to stunt and/or race, that is what I am looking to report on.

I do get a thrill out of it - but I don't think people would want to see any videos of that.
Good luck with it though!

Oh, there's no question that those videos are popular, especially with non-riding teenagers. Get in touch with the guy that did the fundraiser in the Region 4 forum. He may have stuff for you.

After the ride in this morning I may start one called Chill Cycle.

Good luck with the site, I would suggest that the tag line "The thrill of being on two wheels (or one) suggest that stunting is involved, not that it is wrong. You have an opportunity to along with this site promote safe riding, and your post implies that that is your intent.

I was in design of a "rig" to take stills of my rides when winter set in. My schedule may be delayed a tad. I hope to post some cool shots in the late spring.

If he wants thrills when riding , try venturing out in the traffic in thw DFW area. Its a thrill just trying to get home in one piece, with all the crazy drivers out there

Maybe they scared the cars away after they tried to throw the brick into the back of the SUV window. Oh, wait a minute, wrong city. Wrong gang of hoodlums.

I wonder why they bother with helmets...since they're not bothering with any other gear.

Because they'll be able to have an open-casket funeral.

Everytime I get on a bike...rest assured I'm really riding it.
However, I just refuse to be an unpaid stuntman.
