Georgia North Carolina trip 2007 - Motorcycle-Journal Forums

Here are some photos of the trip I took between Oct 25 to Nov 3. Covered 1800 miles not a drop of rain the Norge performed flawless ( well except the side stand becoming loose ). Stayed at my daughter's for 3 days in Kernersville, NC, First time the grandkids have seen Grandpa on a bike in full gear. I arrived late on a school day afternoon and their school bus, which drops them off in front of the house was due, well it pulled up about the time I got off the bike and was pulling my helmet off, well they ran off the bus to greet me. The other kids on the bus were all up against the windows gapping at this old guy and his bike. I guess at that particular time you could have called me a "Poser" and it would be true !

Deal's Gap has nothing and I mean NOTHING on NC RTE 151 leading up to the Blue Ridge just south of Asheville N.C.

That's some beautiful scenery, thanks for the pics. How come so many towns in NC end in "Gap" ??

Real nice shoots but those kids look scary
