Default I must be out of my mind . . .

I am now the proud (albeit only temporary) owner of a silver 2005 Triumph Sprint ST 1050, complete with a set of hard luggage. I've put the whole bike on my credit card. I must be totally nuts.

But I can't wait to get out of the office and on to my new bike tomorrow! Look out California - here I come!

Good for you. Now, you can head into the Napa Valley. There are a ton of good twisties there.

You can go into this Ducati Monster's site: Ducati Monster Board - Ducati MOB

And look for a member called "Ducky." She's like the track-queen of that group and this group has weekly twisty runs into various SF-area routes. She also has a Triumph 675 Daytona. Just let her know you're a friend of mine and she will show you around. I will try to call her in the next few days so that perhaps the three of us can meet up in SF this weekend.

Have fun !!!

I wanna see video of him riding that thing across the Atlantic. Doing hot laps on the deck of the QE2.

No...that's not nuts.

Just think of the return in that investment. Cool choice!

Well, you've got that out of your system. For awhile anyway.

The hard luggage would always be the icing on the cake whether or not to buy a bike like this.

I picked up the bike tonight, and rode it back to the hotel.

What's the word I'm looking for? Oh, yea. FANTASTIC!

I can't wait for the weekend!

I'll try to post some pictures tomorrow or Friday - if I can get out of the office early, or if it's not totally foggy in the morning...
