Default Looking for older riders

Well,, I'll be 74 tomorrow and that's almost old !!!!.. Still good shape. I work out at the Y three times a week, 5' 11" and 180 lbs.. I'm not a long time bike rider, although I started out with a Whizzer motor bike kit- had to put it on yourself- about 1949 I think.. Owned a few scooters and now I have a very nice 1977 Yamaha XS3602D. I use it most every day but the weather is getting a bit iffy now..

Hello I don't consider myself as an older rider, I look the way I do because I have been down a lot of roads in my fourty-eight years of riding and not all of the roads were paved. I am sixty-one years young and one of my friends is seventy, we put on a lot of miles each year, and don't consider ourselves to be experts, we just have the ability to recognize our mistakes a little faster. Any person that considers themselves an expert is the one person I want to give a lot of space too. Motorcycles, are like a lot of other things in life, as soon as you feel you know everything, that is when you are going to get into trouble. JMHO. Take care and stay safe. Doug

Default Ron and Oceanliner

Hi guys
Hopefully we can get together next summer, for a coffee or something. I am just north of Kingston Ontario, so not really to far from either of you. My buddy and I are planning a ride down to NY State next summer sometime. I will be sure to let you know, the great thing about being retired is we have lots of time and just take our time to do things. Talk to you later, take care and stay safe. Doug

64 and have been riding since 1983. I guess this will be my silver anniversary year. Just graduated to a Yamaha 1900 Stradoliner. Nice bike. Last two were a Yam V-Max (loved that one but was a tad bit scared of it) and then a Kaw 1500. Still have that one. Will put it up for sale in the Spring. Don't put on the miles that I once did but still enjoy it a lot.

Hello, I am 62 years old and have been riding motorcycles since 1965.
I'm still riding and own four motorcycles right now.
At one point in my life I owned over 20 motorcycles, you could say I'm slowing down right now.

I'm not so concerned about the "50 plus year old boys"... but I will volunteer to be bait for the Cougars.

Yes gulf coast. Hot, muggy, straight roads (boaring), strip malls on very corner. And FLAT just like Ontario

I will be 73 this spring, still riding as of last fall. Think that I will still be riding when I am 73.
I will be the first to say I am not good enough anymore and quit driving cars and motorcycles when the time comes, and it will.
I am a retired truck driver with many accident free miles and sure as h''l ain't gonna be one of them old folks doing things wrong and in everyones way.
So far I seem to have all my 'lerts' in one pile and doing well.

Don,t know what part of the coast your talking about. But my part is hot breezy and strait as a polititions smile. Ontario I think the 401 is the only straight road there.maybe take another look then decide, or come to my place I,ll show you Ontario the unlevel Ron

Born and raised in London Ont. Strait and flat, just like when I lived in Eastern New Mexico. New England where I live now doesn't have a strait road no where. Great place to ride. But season is a little short.

Just took a trip to Quebec this year also flat and farm land all over very boaring to ride.
