|  Reminder about profanity - please read
Just a note to refresh some of you on our profanity policy. While I'm not personally offended by profanity in most cases, our goal here is to provide a forum suitable for readers of all ages and sensibilities. Therefore, WE DO NOT TOLERATE OVERRIDING THE PROFANITY FILTERS. In a number of threads lately I've seen folks substituting "!" for "i", for example. That's specifically done to bypass the filters that we, the administrators and owners of this site, installed. I consider that quite rude and repeat offenses are grounds for disciplinary action. You know who you are, and you've been warned. Do not attempt to skirt our rules. You may certainly self-censor with symbols that do not resemble the letters they're replacing. There is a difference between skirting the filter and censoring your words. If you can't understand this distinction, just don't swear here. Thank you. |
