Default To end our track season on a positive note.

I want to end our season on a happy note. So, I put together a short slide show of the season. It's only one song long to keep it brief.

Thanks to all, for your support and well wishes this year.

Mmmmmm,,,,, kitties!!!

My Lisa is allergic to them, so I get a little mushy when I'm around them. Sorry.
Such a friend Palanon is eh? He didn't get any shots of me crashing, sheez.

Kidding!!! It is nice to build up a collection of pictures. It'll be fun to impress the youngsters, decades from now. We both can pile the BS higher, so we'll be more impressive, LOL.

I used to be allergic too. But I kept touching them anyway, and one day I noticed my allergy was gone!

Ahaha. I am imagining sometime in the future, you and Paul going like "Tab used to ride in the MotoGP. He was up against the world's top riders! Then Paul joined him as a team mate. One day, they was racing a battle with this genius rider called Valentino Rossi and...."

And there'll be kids with eyes wide open with surprise and admiration. You guys will be their heros!

Decades ?? I don't know about you but, I 'll be riding in eternity in a few decades. Even kids wouldn't believe it. The two statements I get:

" You should get a bigger bike. That 250 is kinda small for you. "
....ummm...that's a 1200...

" You go to the track ? .... Really ???
...yeah, stupid, ain't it ?

Looks like Rowdy moved this to the paddock. Makes sense.

I'd love to try a 250. I rode an RS125 back in 96 at Keith Code's superbike school. That thing laughed at me all the way around the track. A 250 would be awesome{TZ or RS}.

Nut, go over to m-s, area 51, my Hindle thread. Got a question/offer for you.

Hey !! you already got a cameo. Next year, bring Don, Sunny and the gang up and we'll make a real good video.

One of the instructors I had was riding a 250 cc two stroke. That guy could just down right rail. He could eat up R1's and GSX-R's while riding one handed and looking backwards. Real humbling experience.

Yeah, that's what Taro (Taro Sekiguchi, the 250cc MotoGP rider) was doing when we went out to the track together. He was eating up all the other bigger bikes on his 250. Well of course, it was a mini track with a very short straight so big bikes had nowhere they could excel and it was more advantageous for smaller engine bikes.

And of course, he is a MotoGP rider after all. But that was really cool!!

Small tight track the advantage goes to the smaller bike and better rider. Many tracks here in the U.S. are horsepower tracks, long straights that allow substandard riders to "think" that they are good by adding a lot of throttle.

Oh yes, that ride was a model case for that!!!
I think it really was a mini bike track so it was a tough one for the big bikes. In fact, there were two crashes which were both busas. I was even wondering why anybody would want to ride that track on a busa in the first place!

It was a fun day though and ONLY $44 each for the whole day!!!

Which track was that? My old teammate Rick was stationed in Tokyo, and did a lot of trackdays in Japan. I do remember a video of him on a SMALL track, and I'm thinking that may be the same one.

It's called Tomin Motorland. It's only less than 0.4 miles for the entire track. Yes, tiny!! But nonetheless quite a technical track and cheap!!

But we do have quite a few of these tiny tracks where people can practice and have fun for a day with very little money.
