The female driver of the car was cited for crossing the center line. She was not hurt in the incident.
She should be fined for vehicular manslaughter at the very least.

If I were related to the deceased and they didn't charge her with that I would be furious.

We missed it. When? Just now. When will then be now? Soon.

A motorcyclist was killed here in Louisiana this weekend in a small town when the mayor of the town made a left turn in front of him. He is being charged with man slaughter. There may have been other contributing factors, I don't know.

It sucks that this kind of thing happens so often. Some officials seem to believe that the rider deserved it simply for being on a motorcycle.

There was a blurb about a motorcycle accident near my house early Sunday. The only thing I caught was they had to use the jaws-of-life to get the driver out of the SUV...

Can't find anything about it on the web.

So sad to hear about incidents such as this. No matter what we (Riders), are taught while taking the Safety Course, no matter how hard we try to ride defensively... there'll always be something to make a great day riding end in grief! Condolences to the family...

A guy that works where I do hit a Goldwing 2 weeks ago. He's not talking much about it, but it was his fault. Don't know what the outcome will be. If he suddenly stops showing up for work I will know, lol.
