Glad you're ok, relatively speaking. Hang in there.

But it's good to hear you made it out ok.

Man Bob,,, accidents like that are supposed to only happen in Atlanta not going away from it. So I think I heard something about a motorcycle accident the other day up north of town. Must've been you if I got the dates right.

I am glad to hear you are ok and alive to tell about it. Won't be too bad riding the Intruder though. Hoping for a speedy recovery and your bike gets fixed.

Thanks everyone! I am doing fine, able to ride to work OK. Rx pain pills help me sleep, but I get through the day OK with over the counter stuff. My little hottie of a girlfriend spent Saturday and Sunday pampering me at her place, and she rubbed liquid vitamin E on my road rash, so it is scabbed over and should heal nicely. So all in all, it was not a bad weekend.

Glad to hear you're recovering nicely. A woman that pampers you is a good thing, hold on to her!

Glad to hear your ok.....DID they catch the A hole? Now when they catch him you should get Dewie, Cheatem and How on the case. Bet its worth enough for a new EG or a Street Glide!!

Sounds like you took an impossible situation, and did everything just right to keep it from getting any worse, a less experienced rider wouldn't be here to tell us the story. That car driver behind you probably didn't react for a full 2 seconds after you did, and if you haden't gotten out of the way, you would have been the meat, in a car/truck sandwich. Great job!!

Nice bit of riding DrBob. Please post an update to let us know if/when they catch the dirtbag and let us know about the repairs on the glide.

Darn shame... Sounds like you came out of it relatively well.

I recently ran 600 miles on wet rainy roads, and the thing that bothered me most was the way the big rigs were running fast and loose...

Can't wait to get them Mexican trucks here.

Thanks folks- I am healing well. The shoulder still hurts (I see the doctor again Wednesday) but the rest is OK.

Oh, by the way, Congress banned the Mexican trucks earlier this week, so you can stop worrying.

DrBob,
After you telling us about your mishap I changed the order on my new glide it include ABS. Just trying to stack the deck even in more of my favor....
Glad your healing well. Is the old Glide repairable?

The frame and steering head are undamaged, so I can fix her.
