Default Update on the bobber build!

Well, I fixed my engine after the alleged overheat and all is good.

here are some pics of the build so far. I have to work slow, as it is my main bike!

I have no fender on it now because I bought a blank one, and I have a side mount lic plate frame and tail light. I also have a le pera solo seat on order, which I may attach with springs, i dunno if i want a rigid seat or sprung seat yet.

It helps working in a dealership that I can come in on my day off and work 8 hours straight on a lift!

Oh and that bracket in the middle of the frame in the back is getting cut off wednesday to fit the fender. It was originally for the rear seat mount.

Looks like you've got yourself a project there. That 700 Magna is a nice strong smooth motor. keep us posted on the project.

Those bikes are my "specialty" so to speak- couple hints- DON'T mess with the airbox or exhaust too much- that crap is engineered to the Nth degree. You mess with either of those- you will have problems, guarunteed.

I would imagine from the pics you've eliminated the rear suspension. If that's the case, go with the spring seat. Most jap bikes look like crap when you sart chopping them, but yours looks good.
