Default Wookster in Arizona

The wookster woke up to the news that the multi-state Powerball Jackpot was at $300 superlarge. So he rode 200 miles to the border between Cali and Arizona to buy $25 worth of tickets....

Resized..... Was too tired to work on the picture....

Ah, Indio, I kept thinking what a bloody hellish place it is. It was hotter than even Arizona.

Just checked the powerball numbers. Damn, spending $25 plus gasoline and I won a lousy $8.

Wow, and you did not even stop by as you went by to say hi! LOL, good luck I hope you hit it. Next time, let me know and if I am not working we could hook up. I live in La Quinta (5 minutes West of Indio)

Wookie!
OMG, you travelled all the way to Arizona to buy lottery tickets???
AND in that heat???

Well, I knew until you bought the perforated leather suit, you were even wearing a full leather one in summer to do your canyon rides.....so I did gather you have a um...."unusual" heat resistance but still....

OK, you BETTER win that lottery!!!

Good luck!!!

He rides 200 miles and I can't even be bothered to leave my house to walk 10mins to the nearest Circle K. Somebody won though.

Riding through the desert sure isn't fun. I live in AZ, but spent last summer in San Jose, Cali. I did a 750 mile ride spread across 2 days on the M50. Everything was great until I hit that heat.

Can't wait for the winter weather to come around, it's going to be awesome here in AZ...

Just got back from a one-day business trip to Denver.

Yeah, I won $8. So I am debating whether or not I will spend another $10 worth of gasoline and ride to Az to claim the $8.

Mail it to me. I'll claim it. That's a matinee movie ticket right there.

Send me a postage-paid self-addressed envelope. I will send it to you.

$8 for ALL THAT effort?
Hmm....well at least you won SOMETHING.

Maybe something better will be awaiting you sometime in the future. I'm a great believer in luck finding a way to balance out.

[disclaimer; I am not saying you should do it again. ]
