Default breaking and entering?

so i park my motorcycle outside a friend's house (on the street) and left with him to another person's house to pick up their keys.

when i return home i find my saddle bags wide open and several things taken out of them... turns out it was the guy's father who had gone through my things uninvited when my bags were both zipped up and buckled.

this has to break some kind of law...

Beat up your friend and tell him that was a "message" for his dad.

J/K.

That's just wrong for someone to go through your things, what did he take and how did you find out? Did he have a reason for doing this?

Yes, it does break the law. Contact the police if you wish to persue it, but you'll not likely get far without proof.

Your friend's father?
What the heck was he thinking???

I feel almost sorry for your friend. He must be feeling really awkward.

Default Of course

Definately breaking the law.
It's no different than if he would have got inside your car and taken things, even if left unlocked. It's still stealing no matter which way you look at it. Ask him for the stuff back or you will turn it over to the Police. See what happens.
I agree with Kay, your friend must be really embarrassed. That's just too bad.

Question: Did he steal your weed and/or porn?

Rowdy: It's "pursue."

That was what I was thinking for the reasoning. Not that I am saying he is smoking and all but the Dad was just checking to see what kind of friends his son was hanging out with. You know,, bad biker boy and all.

Either way, even if the father was trying to check up on the company his son keeps, it isn't right... nor legal.

In court, he could always exercise his 241st amendment: "Your honor, I thought there was weed and porn involved."

I would suggest that you invest in a pitbull and chain him to your bike. You can find one down at your local dump fascility.. Trust me when I say that no one will ever go near your bike again.. just trust me.. cause I know.. cause I just do..
but a one small detail you may need to remember.. unchain him BEFORE you take off.. cause.. it tends to leave a mess when your going down the interstate at 70+ ... just trying to be helpful..

Reminds me of the time my buddy's cheapo dad bought a goat and used to leave it tied to the bumper of an old pickup that he would park in different spots of the yard. He thought he had engine trouble one day . . . it was the poor goat's hooves as he (she?) tried to do 40 mph. It, uh, didn't go so well for the goat.

May I suggest stealing something of his (the father's)? Just desserts, if you ask me. Unless if, of course, he took something that you weren't supposed to have (i.e. beer, weed, AK-47, a severed goat's head, a collection of Village People albums, some of that blue stuff you put combs in, naked photos of Sandra Bernhardt (no one should be allowed to carry those), etc.).

haha. well....

3 40 oz. bottles of Mickeys

1 handle of Mr. Jack Daniels

1 rather large bottle of raspberry vodka

and a bunch of cups with witch to play beer-pong using another persons "beverages"

when i got back to my bike and looked in the bags getting all giddy, i came to a bunch of empty bottles and the cups had completely gone. haha. kind of
tickled me though that the cups weren't even there.

How did he know you had the stuff in there?... 'cause lets all be honest here...there is a REASON he knew you had SOMETHING in there.

Don't get me wrong, though. He should NOT have done what he did. Just saying, somebody or something tipped him off...

maybe the father thought Brianheath would ride the bike after drinking?

i dunno.

did you ask the father #1 why he looked into the bags and #2 why he dumped the liquor?

well... from what i've recently learned he got a hold of my friends phone and was looking through it.

and the whole reason i brought the stuff was because i was staying the night there. i dont drink unless i've got somewhere to stay for the night that doesn't involve my driving / riding.
