I would be one thing if it was your friend, but it's stranger that it was his father. Not that I think you would get very far without evidence, but IMHO i'd pursue it

Thats a bad idea..
Kid :my friends dad stole my alcohol from my saddle bags
Police: Oh really - are you 21?
Kid : umm.. no.
Police: So youre 21 and admitting to transporting alcohol?

.. and thats the story abotu how a situation goes from bad to worse.

There was a story on CNN the other week about a lady who bought crack, and it turned out not to be crack. So she called the police to see if theyd help get her her money back.. and guess what happened to her.. ARRESTED. Don't go to the police and admit a crime, cause then you'll get more screwed then just losing your alcohol.

You are sixteen. If my kids buddy was bringing booze over, I'd dig into his bags right then and there with him watching. Then I'd call your folks and see if they would come over and help me paddle your a**.

I'm not a pure law and order guy, but keeping your offspring from doing really dumb stuff is your business......and business is good.

If you switched from Missionary to Inverted Spitting Frog, I'd certainly call the State into your personal decisions and tell you that they know what is better for you than you do.
