Checked each morning...and each morning it would be different. I didn't check it hot (unless being warm from the sun for an hour + 80degrees is hot.)

Oh, okay. I get it. I was thinking you were adjusting more than once per day.

FWIW, I am a little superstitious when it comes to tire pressures. Even though it probably doesn't matter, I check my tire pressures when the vehicle hasn't been in the sun. It probably doesn't make *that* much of a difference.

Actually, I think that would completely explain Basso's variations. A tire in the shade is at ambient air temp. A tire in the sun (and it's contained air) could easily be 20-40 degrees warmer, even warmer than a moving tire. That's at least a few psi.

Good for you Basso, I'm glad it worked out, except for the rain and heat of course. Yesterday I drove down to Kentucky (540 miles) in my comfy minivan and today I'm tired out just from doing that. Ooooh, to be younger!

Default Good deal on riding the M50

Glad overall you had a great experience. Sorry about your Grandma.
If you learned from the trip I think it was definately worth doing.
Good for you!
