Me like.
My friends calls it "Janisation of a forum".
It is curable, though.
Usually I get aware I need to sleep a bit more after a while (due to the incredible mistakes I start to make at work).

ciao, Janis

I used to think that. Getting 4-5 hours a night for years. I finally got burned out. I try to get more now, especially before race weekends. I have made near fatal mistakes on the track due to being exhausted, hungover, etc.

Not pretty.

Lots of hash and cocaine as well.
Eroine too unfortunately.
And then all of those wild things taken by those who go to the discos, clubs, etc. usually to get to dance and stay excited all night long.
I don't call 'em drugs, they sound to me more like athletes' doping...do you see what I mean? They don't want the buzz, as Mark called it, they just want their body to be more performant than it is made to be.
It usually turns into the notorious "saturday night slaughters" : many of those people die in car accident on their way home.

ciao, Janis

I remember sleep.

You know . . . had I SLEPT before the kid was born, I might not be in this predicament. Sleeping can keep you out of trouble.

Janis . . . you scare me (in a good way).

Boy do they!! I once responded to call where a beautiful little girl had been thrown through the windshield of her car (as it flipped through a field). She had broken some bones in her face, and you could see where her knee hit the ground after she was ejected. The final determination (never proven, that I know of, but I'm not a cop) was that she had been up all night on ecstasy partying, and she simply got to driving too fast for the road conditions. The trooper that filled out the accident report took her license at the scene and said he was recommending her for some sort of judiciary action to have it suspended. When I saw her license, that was when I realized that she had broken some bones in her face. The photo look drastically different that the girl we were about to transport. Drastically.

You're definitely right.
I NEVER drink alcohol or stay up late before (meaning the days before not only right before) a track day or even a ride out.
The rest of the time I usually sleep and eat randomly, which sometimes makes me live as if I was in another time zone...(presently NYC for example)
After a couple of months I usually recover from this wild kind of life cycle

ciao, Janis

I'm serious. Stop posting to this thread everyone. This thread could be a separate forum by itself!

Actually, I am kidding. I'm just kind of tired of seeing new messages to this thread, because then I feel compelled to read them... All 11 pages... *sigh* It's raining in Dallas, so pardon me. I've got PMS and nothing better to do with my time...

It's always like this with men. <evil grin>
That's why I desperately want to become gay!
Seriously.
I even found a girl that could be my partner!
She's also a good rider...
She's rich, she's gorgeous...
I have to find out if she can cook, iron, clean....'cause that's what a wife is made to do, right?

ciao, Janis

p.s. and yes, this is called "unfair quoting", cause I know how to reply to criticism but compliments wrong-foot me! (btw, was that one?)

You made my blood run cold!
Man, you know how to report things.
I'm referring to this and also to your report about the outlaw rides.
Never thought about becoming a journalist/writer?
