Default Motorcyclist hit & run (Tampa area)

I don't know this guy, but if I were involved in a hit & run, I'd want other riders to help me find the suspect.

***$500 REWARD***

Date: Wednesday July 18, 2007
Time: 4:15 pm
Location of incident: Tampa Fl. / Northbound lanes of Dale Mabry directly in front of Raymond James Stadium between the streets of Tampa Bay and Martin Luther king Jr. Blvd.

Description of Incident: The victim was driving northbound on Dale Mabry in the middle lane. Victim was riding a 2006 Suzuki GSXR 750 Motorcycle. Directly in front of Raymond James Stadium, the driver of a Lexus SC300 traveling northbound crossed from the outside lane to the inside lane. During their course of travel, they struck the right side of the front motorcycle tire causing the victim to wreck. The motorcycle flipped about 4-6 feet in the air and landed on top of him. The driver of the vehicle that struck the motorcyclist then stopped about 25 yards from the scene for a brief second before fleeing. No tag number or partial tag number was able to be seen by the victim or witnesses.

Description of the suspect vehicle is as follows: The following pictures are for example only. These are pictures of the exact make and model. ***IMPORTANT*** The vehicle in question is GOLD IN COLOR. Vehicle has tinted windows.

The driver side rear corner panel and rear bumper as shown here will have damage.

Injuires Sustained to Victim: Broken Left Arm, Broken Left Wrist, Sprained Right Wrist, Severe Bruising Down Left Leg. Rider was wearing safety helmet and gloves. If you were in the area and remember something, or know of someone who has damage to their vehicle that meets the above criteria, please report this information to myself or Tampa Police Department immediately.

If anyone has information leading to the arrest of the driver in question, they are entitled to a $500 REWARD from the victim. You can contact the victim here.

Please do not hesitate to contact Tampa Police Department Anonymously here to assist in their active investigation.

surely it can't be that hard to find a gold SC300 in the DMV records and then check it for damage where it struck the bike?
I hope they get more than a ticket/fine when they find the b@st@rds that did this.
