Hey all, I will be taking the MSF next week and getting a bike sometime after that. In the meantime, I am looking at gear. Helmet gloves jacket etc. There is so much out there, and I'm not familiar with all the name brands. If this was Mtn Biking I'd be set. I know the difference between Specialized and Royce Union. But with motorcycling gear I'm lost, Besides Foxx and SIDI I just don't know who makes quality gear, and whats a cheap knockoff. Anything I should be looking for, or staying away from as a noob. I'm looking at a HJC helmet cause I've seen that name come up a bit online, and got good reviews for the price. Also plan to wear good quality steel toe construction boots, are these OK or is it critical to have actual riding boots. |
