|  My Motorcycle Ride through Hatteras Island
Hello, my name is Roger and I would like to take you along on my journey to Hatteras Island. on a 1981 BMW R 100RS Mention the name Cape Hatteras and most people think of stormy weather. I determined to find out more about the remote island just off the coast of North Carolina. With a map, a few notes gathered from researching on the internet and my old 1981 BMW R100 RS motorcycle, I set out to explore the island on July 11, 2007 in an effort to learn more about the islands history and culture.
