Default General Question Thread {Sportbike cover fitment}

I'm shopping for a cover for my bike and was wondering if a GSXR 600 or 750 cover would fit a Katana?

It should, especially if it's a generic one.

Try Walmart, prices are good. A medium is the size you need.

I bought a simple tarp at a local hardware store ... cost me about $4.00. Works fine for covering my bike (in the garage) for the winter.

What kind of cover are you looking for? Do you want to protect your bike from prying eyes (because it's parked outside), or just protect it from dust when winterizing?

If you are looking for the former, then look for a cover that...
1) is water-proof from the outside, but soft (lined) on the inside (so that it doesn't scratch the paint when you are putting it on or when the wind blows)
2) is lockable, so that it won't be blown away or stolen
3) can be installed when the bike is still warm (many cheaper plastic covers will melt if the engine/exhaust is warm)

I am looking to purchase a chain and sprocket(s). I would like some input on where to shop and what types of chains are the BEST. Thanks in advance
