Default 1985 Honda Blackhawk - should I buy?

I have the chance to purchase a 1985 Honda nighthawk with hard side bags. The guy only wants $500.00 for it and it sounds pretty good.

This is something I will have to move on quickly (next few days).

The engine is a 250.

With all things being considered is this bike worth $500.00?

It doesn't have any body damage and has a high back on the passenger seat.

If it runs decent I'd say jump on it.

BUY IT!!

Seiriously though, give it a good look over and then test ride it and if all is well, then see above.

Almost any bike that runs well and is in good repair is worth $500-1000, assuming you can use it. It's worth nothing if you don't need it.

Honda Nighthawk 250 is well worth it if it runs
they are great beginers bikes, or someone small
they are used in the MSF Classes

Heck the hard luggage bags are worth over $100 by themselves.

Rode the bike. Never judge a book by it cover. The bike isn't worth the money.
