Default Sun Glasses

Do any of you wear yellow sunglasses? A friend of mine wears a yellow pair with foam seal around the edges and loves them even on sunny days. I see they are for night riding as well........

I've had a set of yellow lenses. They're nice simply because you get some tint during the day and can still wear them at night. That's about it really. I didnt notice any kind of glare reduction.

I used to have a pair back when I was flying (private pilot), but now I have the flip-down sunshade built into my Schuberth helmet.

I had a pair years ago (Eagle Eyes) and after wearing them for a couple of hours in bright sunlight, my eyes had a problem adjusting to normal colors when I took them off. Took almost an hour for my vision (color perception) to return to normal. Probably just my reaction to them, but I won't wear yellow lenses any more. Dark smoke works best for me.

I use an amber lens in my Serengetti's....great colour and really helps me see variances in the road surfaces. Like Ray, I had real issues readjusting after taking off the yellow buggers. We used them for riding as well as Shooting...not a fan

I have a pair and LOVE them.
I don't recommend them for daytime use.
I use my smoked-lenz shades during the day.

At night, the amber/yellow lenz riding glasses are awesome.
I hate the glare from oncoming headlights while riding at night and the yellow shades do a great job of toning that down.
If you wear them at night, they tone down all of the glare without negatively impacting your ability to see.

Oh so THAT's what those yellow sunglasses are for!
I have a pair of Adidas sports glasses and they come with dark tinted lenses and a pair of yellow ones that can easily replace the dark ones. But I never knew when to use the yellow ones.

Now I know.
Hmm....maybe I should try the yellow ones next time I ride at night.

Now I wonder if I can still wear those with my helmet on.......
Being sports sunglasses they are a bit bulky.
