Default 2004 Intruder 800

Hi,
anyone know if the Intruder would be a comfortable fit for a 6ft 2in person?

RJD-

Just buying my first bike a little over 2 months ago, I am still familiar with the process of getting a good fit. I must have sat on 15 different bikes at my dealer until I found the bike that fit me the best. I am just a bit smaller than you, 6' 1". I ended up buying a 2004 Volusia. The Intruder is even bigger than the Volusia so it should fit you fine. But go through the process of sitting on the different bikes. You will be surprised (I was anyway) the different feel each bike has. In the fit process have the salesperson stabilize the bike so you can put both feet up. That was explained to me and it does help getting a better idea how the bike will feel when you ride. Good luck!

Probably, but there is only way to find out! I'm 6'1" and just tried out a 2005 Boulevard C50 (ex-Volusia) and found it to be pretty comfortable. With the new fuel injection and standard driver floorboards with heel toe shifter, it's very slick too. Oops, sorry, I drifted off topic a bit.

Maybe I'm different..but I like the feel of my Gixxer 750 for even long rides.

I'm confused ?.

Intruder, Volusia ? What bike are we talking about ?

The Volusia is an Intruder, there is the "plain chopper like " Intruder available in either 800cc or 1400 cc or the intruder LC 1500.

As for your being six two, that depends on how the height is distributed, are you proportionate or are you long legged or is it your torso tat's long ?.

As mentioned best way is to sit on as many bikes as you can and see which feels better.

As a general rule I would say that the most space is available on the LC1500 followed by the Volusia, the chopper like Intruders lack in leg room in comparaison.

I'm 6' 5'' and the intruder800 is a good fit for me. On runs longer than 150miles I do wish that it was a bit bigger, but for in town and short runs, it's great.
