Today, I have pollution duty at work (meaning if pollution occurs (on the water) I have to respond) so anywho, I get called and my car isn't here and my wife was gone with her van, so I figure wth, I'll take the bike. Half way to work it starts thunder storming. I was wearing my leather coat, so my upper body stayed warm and dry while my lower half was as wet as if I had just pulled my pants out of the wash (I am buying rain pants tomorrow) And also I had a cager pull a free right hand turn into my lane (the second lane out not the first lane). I knew he was going to do it before he did so I moved from the right to left side of the lane to avoid Sir stupid. I honked twice before he even came close and then yelled a few obscene things at him once he had made his maneuver but he just rolled up his window and ignored me. AAARRRGGGHHHH!!! Lastly I like to use the clutch to slow my bike when coming to a stop. Let me make this very simple... If the road is wet DO NOT do this. My back tire started to come out from under me, I was able to keep her under control but it was scary as hell.
End rant.
