2003 Honda CBR 600rr - Motorcycle-Journal Forums

I'm currently window shopping around, trying to find my first bike. I've come across this 2003 Honda CBR 600, for $2,500. First, the price blew me away. I contacted the guy and he gave me an odd story, that he's in England and the bike is in Louisiana with a shipping company. Here is his email below:

I still have the bike. I am the first owner and the bike is in excellent condition. Cleaned every week and garage kept. It's ready to ride with a clean title in hand. Never dropped or layed down. I am in England now but this won't be a problem if you want to buy it because the bike is in Louisiana in the custody of a shipping company. They have a third party department in which they will take care of the shipping and payment. Anyway, let me know if you are interested or if you need more details about the bike.

1. I'm 100% sure it's a scam. Look away and be afraid.

2. A CBR 600 is not a suitable beginner bike. Look away and be afraid.

Yup, what Rowdy said. This is exactly the same scam that came up a few months ago, word for word.
