Default V&H exhaust or jet kit?

Ok so now what? should I go with an exhaust like vance and hines, or a jet kit for my gs500f? To be honest never did either to a bike. And tyvm again for the words of encouragement

If you just get a can for the exhaust, you don't need to re-jet. If you go full system, then you do. The cans really just change the exhaust note and add a very slight power gain. The GS500F is a modest displacement engine so you won't get a lot of power from and exhaust kit and re-jet.
